Terms and Conditions 2021
Please carefully read all policies below before you book the retreat. Thank you!
As we are a small business every reservation is very important for us. We are putting lots of love, time and energy in the organization of the retreat – and to ensure that we can offer them, we have to make payments in advance.
To sign up for the retreat, we ask you for a deposit of 500€. After the deposit payment, we can confirm your booking. Please notice, that any reservations by phone or message is not official until the deposit payment is done.
By transferring the deposit payment, you indicate that you have read, understood and agreed to the terms and conditions on this page.
Please use your name on the transfer for easy identification.

To hold your spot please transfer the remaining payment no later than six weeks before the retreat starts. We’ll send you a friendly reminder per email before the final payment date. If we don’t receive your payment on time, unfortunately we have to make your spot available to those on the waitlist and you’ll forfeit your deposit. Unfortunately please notice that there will be no refund and no exception.
Nobody books a retreat with the intention of cancelling it, but if you have to change your plans, you have the possibility to change or cancel your participation up to and no later than six weeks before the retreat starts. You have the possibility to change your booking up to and not later than six weeks before the retreat starts, to another Earth and Sky retreat in 2021 and 2022 free of charge. If you have to cancel your reservation a cancellation fee of 400€ will be deducted from your deposit and you will refund the remaining amount. In this case, please send us your bank details. Any changes and cancellations made in the six weeks before the retreat starts are not being taking into account and you will forfeit your deposit. Please notice that we cannot make any exceptions to our policy for any reason including, but not limited to: weather; natural disaster; acts of terrorism; flight delays or cancellation; health conditions; pandemics; medical, personal, family, work emergencies; change of mind.
As we have decided to organize the retreat during this pandemic there are several information regarding to the policy: Our location is big enough, with plenty of space to practice social distancing and we keep a close eye on the health and safety regulations. For safety reason: all guests must be vaccinated or show a negative PCR test result (not older than 48 hours) on arrival date.
If your government enforces a travel ban (= not allowing you to leave the your country to travel to France), you are able to transfer your deposit to another Earth and Sky Yoga retreat in 2021 or 2022 free of charge. The transfer has to be requested up to and not later than six weeks before the start of the retreat! Please notice that a travel ban is something different from travel restrictions and travel warning to a risk area! For example: if you have to go into quarantine upon your return – this is not a valid reason for cancellation or change.
Instructor Cancellation Policy
All participations will be fully refunded should the instructor need to cancel the retreat for any reason including but not limited to illness, physical deterioration or when France closes its borders, and the Earth and Sky retreat cannot take place and must be canceled. In this case we will notify you as soon as possible and you can request a full refund or you may transfer your payment to another retreat in 2021 or 2022. Any additional costs, such as flight tickets, travel expenses will not be reimbursed should the instructor cancel the retreat or the retreat cannot take place. Please notice that we cannot accountable for your expenses incurred in preparation for the retreat, such as airline tickets, loss of work, visa fee and any other costs associated with preparation for your trip.
Travel & health insurance
We highly recommend purchasing a travel insurance! Furthermore, the participation to the classes, workshops, hikes and any activity will be at your own risk and you must be employ your own judgement as to which movements, positions, and exercises are appropriate for your level of training, overall physical fitness and experience as well as mental stability.
All participations are required to have an international health insurance that also covers medical care and transport home if needed. All participations must be Covid-19 vaccinated or show a negative test result (not older than 48 hours) on arrival date.
The total cost paid is for one space on the retreat. We are not responsible for lost, stolen or missing items. We are not responsible for airline cancelations, missed flights or transportation issues. All reservations and booking are first come first serve. All rooms are shared – if not booked a single room.
With the retreat, we are renting a villa, so every room may vary slightly. Although size and amenities may vary, all room types are equally priced.
All rooms are first come first serve – so the sooner you sign up, the more likely your needs will be fulfilled. Please send us the name of your preferred roommate within your registration. If you don’t specify who your roommate is, we will assume you are open to any guest. All rooms are shared – if not booked a single room.
Earth and Sky reserves the right to remove a participant form the retreat if their behaviour is distruptive.
Earth and Sky reserved the right to keep a participant liable if she/he brings damage to the house or belongings.
Earth and Sky reserved the right to change the program, teachers or team members at all times.
